"Consume the 'Shroom!" This marvelous mushroom, perfectly pickled, is the founding member in the Black Sheep flock of products from back in our Farmers Market days.

We are overjoyed to welcome it back to the Black Sheep flock of products. The jar contains mushrooms, carrots, garlic & jalapeños plus spices steeped to perfection in a vinegar brine. Fabulous right out of the jar, the 'shrooms also shine in martinis and bloody marys. Killer in hot pasta dishes as well as pasta salad (don't forget to add brine to olive oil for the dressing)!

A long time customer shares this super easy and super tasty cooking idea: place a whole chicken in your crock pot, add the entire contents of the jar (rinse out the spices in the jar with water & add to crock pot) then cook accordingly - THE BEST chicken ever and the gravy is unbelievable. Try to not eat all the chicken before you remove it from the crock pot! So good it's hard to stop poaching bites before serving.
